Polytechnic University of Bari (PoliBa hereafter) is an Italian state university, founded in 1990, and is recognized as one of the leading institutions for engineering and architecture studies in Italy. Primarily located in Bari, the capital of the Apulia region, the university also has a campus in Taranto. Both basic and applied research activities are carried out in the 5 Departments (DMMM-Mechanics, Mathematics and Management, DEI-Electrical and Information Engineering, ARCOD-Architecture, Construction and Design; DICATECH-Civil, Environmental, Land, Building Engineering and Chemistry, DIF- interuniversity Dept. of Physics) and in the 2 interdepartmental canters (TTEC-Taranto and Startup Lab).
