The University of Foggia was established on August 5, 1999 by Ministerial Decree. It consists of eight departments: the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Food, Natural Resources and Engineering; the Department of Economics; the Department of Economics, Business Administration and Territorial Management; the Department of Law; the Department of Humanistic Studies, Letters, Cultural Heritage and Educational Sciences; the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences; the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine; the Department of Social Sciences. It is a dynamic and evolving institution focused on continued growth and it is committed to adapting its educational offer to the needs of its surrounding context, providing an engaging curriculum that blends tradition and innovation.
